Cadet Program

What is the Cadet Program?

The Cadet Program provides a unique opportunity for young children (boys and girls ages 4 to 10 years old) to join our hockey community and develop the fundamental skills to become a hockey player. The program was created to provide an age-appropriate program for youth hockey development to help individuals succeed both on and off the ice as hockey players and graduate into our Learn to Play program.

The Cadet Program is offered to new, first-time participants and experienced skaters (both boys and girls) to the sport of hockey. Your child does not need to know how to skate before enrolling in the Cadet Program.

Our mission

It is our goal to provide the proper environment for our players and their families, friends, and supporters to enjoy the sport of ice hockey. To provide an atmosphere that encourages our participants to learn and grow on and off the ice. We will work to instill pride, discipline, and a strong work ethic. Not only as individuals but as teammates and members of the Generals organization. While winning is always one of our goals, playing the sport within the rules, showing good sportsmanship, respecting our opponents, officials, and others during play is of paramount importance.
